On December 11, I had the privilege of meeting  and   at Re-Create Academy, a Hope Online Learning Center in Lakewood.  I toured their facility and met teachers and kids!  This facility is meeting a need in our County, and Hope Online Learning Academy is meeting the needs across our state.  At-risk kids given an opportunity to have breakfast and lunch, and a great education, all for free.

On December 3, I visited the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, which serves citizens of Jefferson, Gilpin, Clear Creek and Summit Counties with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Part of the tour involved meeting a few who had come in to work for the day!  What a great program … what great people!

This group, along with Isaiah H and Curt W, logged 37 man-hours of time, knocking on doors and meeting voters this weekend!  Thank you ALL so VERY much!
